Websites need to do two things – function well and look good. If you can get these elements correct you are half way there to gaining customers and business. How many times have you searched for a product or service on the internet, clicked on a site to be greeted with something that is so bright it hurts your eyes or something that looks like it was developed in the 80’s? Visiting a badly designed website can turn people away instantly and many people do not even stay to view what you have to offer. Losing customers at this early stage is detrimental to your online business profile and can cost you big time! Another situation that causes many people to leave your site is if pages don’t load correctly or sometimes not even at all. If your navigation has dropped off the side off the site or the tabs are overlapping, it can be extremely hard to navigate round and many people wont waste their time trying to figure it out when they can go elsewhere.
