How to make your business cards stand out

Business cards are often passed around quite freely at networking meetings, conferences or events and it can be easy to forget where a business card came from and why you have it. Business cards are used to pass your details on to someone that you have been in contact with in order for them to have all of your information should they wish to contact you in the future, but making sure your business card stands out (for the right reasons) can be tricky.

Don’t always be fooled in to buying cheap business cards. Research has shown that business cards that have been printed on better quality card are often perceived in a better way, leave a stronger impression and better represent your personal brand in paper form.

Personalising business cards can be perfect for getting noticed. We have all had a time when we have reached out a business card and have no idea who gave it to us or when. Having a line on the card which states where you met is quirky but also often very useful. If you want to be even more quirky and stand out that little bit more then why not go for a card that is not standard business card size. Choosing one with rounded corners, mini business cards or even square ones will surely make your card get noticed and may mean that you stay in the forefront of your potential clients’ minds.
