Video is becoming popular amongst businesses wishing to market themselves in a new and innovative way. Depending on what industry your businesses is in, video can work for you in many ways. If you want to showcase your premises, surroundings or size of your company then having a short video will be a great way to interact with your viewers, allowing them to actually see for themselves.
In general, keep videos to a reasonable length. Unless you are doing a presentation or tutorial, most videos should be approximately two to three minuets long maximum to ensure you do not lose the viewers interest.
In the past five years we have seen many large retailers adding video to their sites such as Asos that uploaded footage of their clothes been worn on the catwalk. This has proved highly successful for many of them.
Even the motoring industry are signing up for video on their sites. For some time now people have been making short videos of a car they wish to sell and uploading it to sites such as YouTube to give the viewer a 360 degree view of the vehicle, but some dealers have taken this to the next stage by allowing you to video link with them as they show you parts of the car you wish to see via a live video feed.
